@Gliktch I suggest you actually read some of the Quran before you say shit.

physically accosting? So now a little girl is a tramp according to church staff? Hitting on church staff? wow this is a cult just as bad as Catholics. The staff has sexual thoughts about girls they serve and they accuse her of hitting on them. What a turn of events and Uncle Miscabage not standing up for her nice and punish the staff. Wow what a dick head.

  3. roboptions says:

@GeraniumStew She evolved from a hippo or polar bear so thats why. OT8 makes your remember that far so now she brought that back. Fat helps you stay warm in a cold ass cult.

  4. JazzBassDude says:

This is all fabricated and twisted.

  5. Gliktch says:

I would also mention that most of the reason you don’t hear of many of $cientology’s exploits is that they make it quite clear to people both inside and outside their cult, that they will use any means (legal or otherwise) that they can get away with, to intimidate and oppress anyone who attempts the exposition of their harmful behaviours and policies.

$cilons have certainly killed people through criminal neglect, denial of psychiatric care and medication, driving people to suicide, and so on..

  6. Gliktch says:

“depth of belief and certainty are impressive traits.”

Certainty is not in itself a virtue. In the context you’re talking about, the exact opposite is in fact true. Faith or certainty in the face of opposing evidence is also called dogma, blind faith, willful ignorance, fundamentalism etc…

The chronic failure to question one’s own beliefs and positions is a distinctly unintelligent (and harmful) trait, and one which the fanatically religious exhibit in very unhealthy and dangerous amounts.

  7. naard says:

don’t confuse admiration for actions with admiration of attitude. depth of belief and certainty are impressive traits. what you DO with those traits varies, of course.

in the case of scientologists, i wouldn’t compare them to islamic suicide bombers, seeing as i haven’t exactly heard of rampant car-bombing by scientologists.

  8. MegaVolcano says:

Thank goodness Travolta woke up to the fact that this “religion” is BS.

  9. Gliktch says:

Islamic suicide bombers tend to be pretty enthusiastic too (eager to meet those 72 virgins of course) – do you admire them as well?

  10. 104cheesemonster says:

no hitler was a great man elron hubbard was a tyrant

  11. ezmereldagreen says:

    how is this happening?????????????

  12. Idude893 says:

    Brave girl.

  13. sugarpuddin88 says:

Religion & Scientology are tax-exempt; & like the fairy tales Mother Goose & Jack and the Bean stalk: Written to help the frightened little monkeys sleep at night

The belief in one fairy tale over another is completely arbitrary – And depends on which frightening story you heard as a child

In reality, people are simply afraid of the responsibility associated with having an “internal locus of control” – Thus, they invent saviors to hide behind when it gets dark out at night

  14. brydogary says:

true but there are similarities between their members and SD/Gestapo. Plus the way they label non-believers and the way the nazi’s labled their opponents. Also theres a great article comparing LRH and hitler and they are very similar people

  15. slacker97068 says:

so its okay that they have killed people like lisa macpherson and harrassed and terrorized critics, done irreparable damage to peoples lives and reputation..because they got kirstie allie off of drugs…

  16. naard says:

akin to hitler? really? i think these people are kooks, don’t get me wrong, but to compare them to hitler is more than a little alarmist. they have even done some really shitty things, as do most large groups occasionally (all the major religions and many corporations/governments come to mind in one way or another). but until they kill a few million more people, take over poland, germany and start a major world war that comparison is rather flimsy.

  17. EmilyGreene1984 says:

Soon, this cult will be brought to justice and its members and criminals exposed for all their illegal and barbaric crimes and they will be punished. And God will eventually judge them in regards to their delusional belief in a man who was a lying, deceitful, vain, egotistical madman.

  18. EmilyGreene1984 says:

There’s nothing for him to be proud of, at all. This group has extortioned money from people, lied about their activities, tortured, bankrupted, harassed, and murdered people who either tried to get out or who are trying to expose the group for what it is. The people in this cult, on the whole, are criminals or accomplices to criminals. It is absolutely disgusting and akin to Adolf Hitler what their doing. In fact, Scientology has its origins in the same religion as the Nazis and Hitler.

  19. naard says:

well, i don’t share tom cruise’s views…but i do admire in a limited way his sheer level of enthusiasm about his religion.

  20. GeraniumStew says:

Kirstie Alley brags, “I never did drugs again.” Yeah, but she immediately gained 300 pounds…

  21. 0987654321anon says:

    good post

  22. vancouverbluz says:

David miscreant seems like a used car salesman, would you want religion from this guy?

  23. NotSoOldHippy says:

Insane criminals. Scientology is child abuse, organized crime. It is dieing out slowly, of course, but not quickly enough.
